How are you feeling today?

Maybe you’re not feeling as good today as you did yesterday, or the other way around. It’s normal to feel this way as we go about our day-to-day life, moving up and down the scale from feeling ok to sometimes really not ok.

Don’t struggle alone…

When things get difficult and we don’t feel like we can recover, we can become stuck in a negative place and be at risk of mental health problems such as depression and anxiety.

Symptoms might include tiredness and problems sleeping, not taking care of yourself, unable to relax or feeling anxious, crying more or less than what’s normal for you, not enjoying things or struggling to cope with daily life.

Many of us experience these things when we’re going through a tough time. But when these symptoms continue for weeks and interrupt our day-to-day life, such as work, study and taking care of ourselves and our family, it could be a sign of mental distress.

It’s important to not judge yourself too harshly. You are not alone – facing uncertainty, challenges and distress is part of being human.

It’s ok not to be ok…

The good news is that there are things to help you feel better to stop your mind wandering into negative throughts. And professional services are on hand to support you with bigger issues that affect your wellbeing.
