The local NHS is encouraging anyone who lives in Liverpool to visit one of our NHS walk-in centres for advice and treatment for minor injuries and illnesses.
The walk-in centres are also returning to more face-to-face appointments following the lifting of restrictions put in place during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Liverpool walk-in centres are open 8am to 8pm seven days per week. To minimise social contact, keep you safe and to reduce your waiting time, you can book an appointment in advance by calling: 0300 100 1004.
The walk-in centres are located at:
- South Liverpool Walk-In Centre, 32 Church Road, Garston, L19 2LW
- Old Swan Walk-In Centre, Crystal Close, Liverpool, L13 2GA
- Smithdown Children’s Walk In-Centre, Smithdown Road, Liverpool, L15 2LQ
In order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and keep staff, patients and visitors safe, there will still be a requirement to wear a face covering and maintain a safe distance.
If patients have any COVID-19 symptoms, the advice is still for them to self-isolate, and contact NHS 111. Information on testing is available here: https://www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test
