Covid 19 vaccination program

When will I have my vaccine?

The Covid 19 vaccination program has now started, and is being rolled out in order of priority based on advice from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI), shown on the table below.

This is being coordinated by the government and NHS England.  Please be assured that you will be contacted by your GP practice when your turn comes.  It is important that you do not contact them to get this information, as dealing with these queries may divert resources.

Where is the vaccination centre for Central Liverpool Primary Care Network?

This information should be given to you when your appointment is booked.

The two vaccination sites in the Network are:

Kensington Portacabin

Kensington Sports bank

Jubilee Drive

L7 8SJ

Lee Jones Community Centre

Limekiln Lane

Liverpool

L5 8XR

Please only attend if you have an appointment.  If you do not have an appointment you will be turned away.

Please note that whilst both the Pfizer and Astra Zenica vaccines are being administered at our vaccination centres, this varies from week to week depending on supply, and we cannot offer a choice of vaccines based on patient preference, unless there are specific contraindications to a particular vaccine for individual patients.  Food allergies and even anaphyliaxis to foods is not a contraindication to either of these vaccines. Both vaccines have excellent efficacy and safety data, and we do not endorse waiting for one vaccine or another if your preference is not available at the time of the appointment.
